totalsurf worked with the DfES and Intro to produce an online version of the London Pledge targeted at London students and designed to encourage them to partake in London events.

A fully database driven solution with user logins and stored information allows each student to manage all their pledges online and receive recognition when they are all completed.

Additionally the site caters for AA standards in accessibility and touches on AAA in many aspects.

The project is the first live project to use the new Shibboleth login system which is being launched across London and eventually the UK. Integrating with this system was a great challenge as no other examples were available. The success of this project has proven the benefits of the system.
